It's been a long time but we are here in the great state of Florida for a family reunion! It's crazy because most of my extended family I haven't seen since the wedding (6 years ago) and so they are all amazed that I am really grown with two kids. Where did the time go?
But I am thrilled to be here. I love family and I love that the kids are meeting their cousins and establishing those bonds. That was the sucky thing about being in Germany, being away from everyone and missing out on family reunions and holiday celebrations. Two weeks every year just did not make up for it at all. However, we are well on our way for making up for lost time though. One reunion this weekend and one reunion next weekend. Lots of traveling in a small space of time but well worth it.
The ocean is calling my name. Hopefully we'll be able to ride over tomorrow. I would love to take pictures of the kids dipping their feet in the Atlantic!
